Something of interest since most of you are old enough to at least know what a Model T ford is. Back in 1909 there was a Model T race that went from Detroit to Seattle. Do to the roads or lack of the route followed the Santa Fe Trail through Kansas. There is a group that is recreating that race and will be leaving the Kansas City area at o:Dark o:Clock Friday morning under police escort to 56 highway or the Old Santa Fe Trail. They will stop for breakfast at the Santa Fe cafe in Burlingame. The Ts will be on display on the brick street along with the British Car club from Topeka and I believe a couple of others car clubs. There will be a breakfast Buffet that will be slightly higher than normal as some of the money will go to support the local museum etc. So if you like old cars this would be a nice way to spend the morning.
