6/14/2011 ROMEO LUNCH 11:00 am Carrie is opening at 10:00 and is serving breakfast or lunch.
TIGHTWAD CAFÉ
1142 S.E. Highway 7
Clinton, MO

This is a return trip to Tightwad, a classic town of 63 people, and has a great café. The forecast is perfect and we had a real good turn out the last time we visited Tightwad. I called and our favorite waitress Carrie and she was very excited about our visit. She is opening just for us so try to make it if you can.
Romeo Al Hayes and KCTV5 Brad Steven got together and are cooking up a little human interest story about the Romeos. If nothing news worthy comes up on Tuesday they would like to take some pictures of the Romeos and probably do some interviews. They said they would like to get some pictures of some of us riding together so I told them I would gather a few riders in the parking lot of Mimi’s Café, 8301 West 135th St., Overland Park, KS at 8:30 am. At 9:00 am we would ride south down Highway 69 to the Louisburg, KS where we would pick up Highway 2 to Harrisonville, MO where we would pick up Highway 7 to Tightwad, MO. ( http://tinyurl.com/Route-to-Tightwad ) This is 95.6 miles and should take 1:51 minutes. I hope to arrive at Tightwad by 11:00 am. You are welcome to join us for the ride, but feel free to head on down to Tightwad and enjoy yourself. If you have a Romeo Hat or Romeo Shirt don’t for get to wear it.
I would like to thank Al and Brad for the exposure. As the result of the article in the “Good Times” paper a few months back our Romeo group has made many new good friends. I am sure this will also be true of this visit and we look forward to meeting more new “motorcycle riding” friends.
Here is the link to all the Romeo Rides this week: (I try to update the map as soon after the ride coordinators post their rides as I can)
