Gibbo's Birthday Breakfast Ride: Wed., July 15, 9 AM

Post by roginoz »

Joint South Central / North Central Ride

Gibbo's eighty-eighth birthday falls on our ROMEO ride day next week. The North Central and South Central groups will meet at the Carriage Crossing, in Yoder, at 9:00 AM for breakfast and a birthday celebration. (Be sure to save room for pie.)

With riders from some of the other areas joining us it'll be a large group, but the Carriage Crossing is big enough to accommodate everyone and there's plenty of parking available. It may take a bit longer to get our food, so plan for a little extra time and enjoy the opportunity to chat with the other ROMEOs while we wait.

If the weather turns bad, jump in the car and show up in Yoder anyway. You still need to eat, and you don't want to miss chance to wish Gibbo a happy birthday.

TIME:

9:00 AM, Wednesday, July 15

PLACE:

Carriage Crossing Restaurant
K-96 & Yoder Road
Yoder, KS

We had eighty-five people show up for Gibbo's 88th birthday breakfast. (Shoulda scrounged up three more...) I believe that we had most of the north central and south central ROMEOs present. There were sixty-eight bikes, which traveled 2980 miles (one-way) to Yoder. The food was good, and the service was exceptional considering how large our group was.

Charlie will have some photos posted later, so check back if they're not up when you read this. Also, you might want to check the north Central forum (http://www.romeoriders.com/forums/viewt ... =10&t=3596) for their comments and photos.

We'll probably head east and north next week. I'll get something posted by Saturday evening.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
