Mama's Kitchen is an old restaurant that was completely remodeled inside, also has an updated menu, the emphasis on good home cooking. A couple of us have eaten there and every thing we tried was good.
Holly and Michelle said the breakfast special will be bacon or sausage with 2 eggs and toast for $4.99, the lunch special is 6 or 12 wings you choice of flavor, she didn't give me a price. The tenderloins are one of their signature items.
Another smallish restaurant so the early bird gets the bacon. Seating for around 50-60. Exit Archie off I-49 into town, north 1/2 block on outer road.

The owners of Mama's Kitchen in Archie had a fire at their residence outside of Archie Friday June 5th. The house and all the contents are gone, a total loss.
The citizens of Cass County are going to "cash mob" them on Tues and Wed June 9 and 10. A cash mob is where you go to the business and order to support them in their time of need. I talked to Randy and we don't think we should cancel, that we should show up and show our Romeo support of a small business. With the forecast Tues to be hot, maybe show up a little early and be patient as Romeos always are. I will have an update on Monday.

I talked to the owner Bryan Kusgen this morning and he said the would have FOUR waitresses and is turning the whole restaurant non-smoking. He said that gives him a capacity of 92, so lets all show and have a good time!

Hot, but dry today. We had a good crowd at Mama's Kitchen, lots of first timer new faces and we even recruited one from the restaurant! Many thanks to everyone at Mama's, the food and service were outstanding.
