South Central Lunch: Wednesday, May 13, 11:00 AM

Next Wednesday's forecast calls for a fifty percent chance of rain. While we may be able to ride in between showers, I think we should stay close to home again in case it's a four wheeling day. We were in Bentley a couple of months ago, but it's the direction we want to go next week and it's the right distance given the probable weather (almost halfway between Wichita and Moundridge.) They enjoy having us show up, and the food's always been good.

The Bentley Corner Bar and Grill serves breakfast until 10:30, if you happen to get there early. At lunch they always have a special entree and a sandwich special of some kind. You can also order off the menu: burgers, chicken fried steak, salads, etc. And, there's pie for those with room for dessert.

We'll get some better weather soon, and do some longer rides.

It was overcast today, and I'm sure we'll get rain later, but we were able to ride to Bentley and home without getting wet. Most of us showed up early,; I don't know if it was to beat the rain or to beat the 10:30 deadline for breakfast. We had thirty ROMEOs and twenty-five motorcycles, with the motorcycles traveling 697 miles (one way) to the Bentley Corner Bar & Grill. Charlie will have some photos later, so check back if you don't see them below. I'll post a ride sometime Saturday after I check the weather and notify our destination.
