Tues 7/15 the Old Cedar Inn at Garden City, MO

Roger and Melissa are still on the road out west having a great time. The last picture I saw of Roger looked like he was relaxed on the front porch of a cabin and seemed to be content just staying there. So in his absence we will just have fun anyway and hope he is back soon. Tues we will be going back to one of our favorites, the Old Cedar Inn at Garden City, MO. I talked with them this morning and they are glad to have us back. The weather forecast sounds good with temps in the 70's with a 90% chance of sunshine. Sounds pretty good for the middle of July when we usually have temps in the 90's. They serve breakfast til 11:00 and lunch after 11:00. So come for breakfast or lunch and have a good ride.

I had talked to some of you about going to the Blue Inn in Appleton City, but, they are closed all next week. Thanks Randy.

Well I believe we have the greatest July day we could ever ask for. The temp when I left home was 61 degrees and the high is now up to 75 degrees with clear to partly cloudy skies. I believe there were as many Romeos at the Old Cedar Inn at Garden City as there were at Harolds for Bar B Q last week. I gave up counting as the number was changing constantly. Since I made the arrangements for this ride I thought I would get there early this morning to be there when Romeos started arriving. Well I was too late as there were 20 bikes in the lot at 9:30 when I got there and they continued arriving until around 11:15. As usual the food was good and there was plenty of it along with good service. They sure were glad to see us back. I am still without a good camera and I know Bob was taking pictures so I hope he will post his. If anyone else took pictures please feel free to post them. I took two with my phone that are not very good.

Sounds like the weather tomorrow is the same as today. Be a nice day to ride to Wellsville to Smokeys.

Randy YES perfect day and great turnout! Do hope to see some of the KC group at Wellsville and I gave the staff a heads up there might be a BUNCH of breakfast eaters based on what we saw today. They are looking forward to feeding all the ROMEOs though they're not near as big a place as Old Cedar--so the "early birds" may actually help out with the seating situation, and should be great weather for BS outside after breakfast
