LUCILLE'S DINER (new address)
1286 Amity (close to Price Chopper right off 69 Highway)
Louisburg, KS
913-837-5330 Debbie

LUCILLES HAS MOVED!!! AND HAS NO SIGN!!!
Lucille's has moved. Just east of 69 Highway in a strip center close to Price Chopper. THERE IS NO SIGN!!! The landlord charges their renter if they put up a sign!! Lucille refuses to pay their "ransom" I really like this woman. Let's help her make it!! After last week, you are sure to pay attention to the google map created by our "MAP GENIE" who makes very few mistakes. ;)

Here is the link to all scheduled Romeo Rides:

Debbie is really proud of the new location. They have more room, NOW SERVE BREAKFAST, and have table service. You don't have to place your order at the counter and they still have great prices and good food.

Not too late to make reservations to go to the ROMEO Spring Rendezvous in Bartlesville, OK. The forecast for Oklahoma next week is sure better than in Kansas!!

When? next Tuesday 3/25 and Wed 3/26 Bartlesville OK. Only 194 miles 3 hours and 16 minutes from Overland Park.

Make reservations at the Quality Inn, 222 S. E. Washington Blvd. Bartlesville, OK 918-335-7755 Special ROMEO rate $59. Heck of a deal for a nice hotel! Split with a roommate and that is a really good deal.

Tuesday Night--MURPHY'S STEAK HOUSE, 1625 S. W. Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 918-336-4789
What time are we suppose to go to Murphy's?? "We don't have reservations and it best if we don't all go at the same time, (but we will), it is a very popular place so be prepared to wait, but it is worth it. Get the special--you are in for a treat!! You are on your own to find your way to Murphy's find someone to ride with.

After a great meal and a fun time at Murphy's head back to the Quality Inn and meet in the Cherokee Room for coffee and BS. No service, if you want something other that coffee, bring your own refreshments (:

Wednesday: Free breakfast at the Quality Inn. A hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice. That makes your room really cheap!!

After breakfast you have to go to WOOLAROC, 1925 Woolaroc Ranch Road, Bartlesville, OK 1-888-966-5276 $8 for seniors (65) and $10 under 65.

https://www.woolaroc.org/ Frank Phillip, founder of the oil company created a spectacular museum, art gallery, and wildlife preserve. No matter what your likes or dislikes are, you will find something at WOOLAROC that will WHOW YOU!!

If you don't do anything else, go to Woolaroc. Bucky also thought you might want to see the Frank Phillips Home, 1107 Cherokee Ave, Bartlesville 918-336-2491. Call to check tour schedule, four tours a day. Tours are $5.

And there is riding. I have created one ride and if time permits I want to do another. This is a 201 mile 4 hr 33 minute ride that should be interesting. It also passes the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore, OK. He was quite a man and they do a good job of telling his life story. Below is the link to my route. This is downloadable to most GPS's or computers and I think you can print, too.

WEDNESDAY EVENING: We will have supper in the large banquet room at 6 pm. We will have a buffet with all the trimmings, and for a good price. After supper there will be a short awards presentation.

I hope I have given you a little more information about the ROMEO SPRING RENDEZVOUS. It is a good time with lots of things to do. I hope you can come.
Melissa and I are eating at Lucille's Diner, at 10:30 am on Tuesday 3/25 and will be riding to Bartlesville from there. You are welcome to ride down with us. If you do plan on riding with us, let me know, as late as Tuesday at Lucille's so I don't go off and leave you.

Lucille's hasn't changed, still great food and lots of it.Everyone felt guilty getting two tenderloins and fries for the price of one. The newcomers couldn't believe it and the ol' timers knew what they were in for! ;) Most riders started out at 28 degrees but no one was complaining. This is Junior's new GS, sitting by Denny's. They were headed for Bartlesville to the ROMEO Spring Rendezvous.I guess this was the BMW dayThe food was awesome. George was truly worried if Lucille was charging enough. He told her he had enough food to last him for 3 days. She was very pleased that he was pleased :D You don't have to worry about Lucille, she CAN DO IT :!: AND DOES DO IT.Swanee brought Sandy for the first time. She is wanting to know, why he hasn't brought her before  After several got lost last week everyone paid real close attention to instructions this week. I told you there was no sign :o But with food like this you don't need a sign.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
After eating several of us head to Bartlesville. It was a nice ride and 50 degrees and sunny when we arrivedThe banquet tomorrow night had to be cancelled because so many had cancelled and we couldn't make the 50 minimum. :(
