ROMEOs Picnic - Americus - June 20, 11:00 AM

Our South Central ride for next week will be to the ROMEOs Picnic in Americus, KS. (Americus is just northwest of Emporia.) We'll join riders from all the other areas in the city park. The park is at the four way stop in the center of Americus.

Bring your own food and drinks. There's a cafe (New Breck Cafe) across from the park if you forget to pick something up prior to arriving. They may be busy, depending on the turnout, but they've offered to make to-go orders for anyone who needs them.

Small group is meeting at Motorsport's at 8:00am wednesday morning. Will be taking the scenic route going and the turn pike on the return trip due to the heat. Cheers, Bob Lee

We had at least six riders from the Wichita area; it's hard to say how many South Central members, since we "share" a few folks with the North Central group.

It was good to see some of the people from the other areas, and we had an excellent day to ride.

Big (not so) Bad John will be scheduling rides for the next couple of weeks while I work on wearing out some of the roads in Colorado. I'll see everyone on July 4. (I hope John can find someplace open...)
