Romeo Fall Rendezvous Sept. 20-22

Post by Klem »

Once again Jr. will be having the Romeo Fall Rendezvous at the Hub in Marble Falls Arkansas. Don't know for sure the rates yet, but they always have special rates for us at the Hub. The Hub is a bike friendly place that provides maps with interesting loops to ride and things to see in the area. There will be an evening meal together Sept. 21, 2011. This is an event that many come early for and stay late, I'm talking days here folks. Mark your calendars for this one, you will enjoy it.

August 9 update.

Jr. says the room rates will be the same as last year, but sure to tell them you are a Romeo. They will be opening the restaurant for us Tuesday-Friday.

Time to be making your reservations.

The Hub P.O. Box 165, Marble Falls Ar. 72648

We have been getting a lot of calls wanting information about the Fall Rendezous. So here it is.
With the 1st day of Fall being the 23rd of Sep we have set the date of Wed the 21st for our out of state get together and meal.
It will be held at The Hub in Marble Falls, Arkansas. (The Hub is located at the old Dog Patch USA location, for those of you who remember it from your childhood.) It is between Harrison and Jasper Arkansas on 7 Highway. Follow Ar 7 Highway until you find 7s. Turn on 7s, or bring a friend and follow it to the top of the mountain and you are there.
Randall and Debbie are giving the
Romeo's a rate of $45.00 for the regular size rooms. (By the way thats the same rate we paid 6 years ago.)
They look forward to our group each year and have told me on several occasions what a good group we are and how much they appreciate our business. (I think it's because we enjoy ourselves, but go to bed early because of our age.)
Scooters restaurant will be closed on Monday. But for those of you that come early Shirley and I will be hosting a wienie roast with all the fixin's around the campfire. Bob Lee will be providing the drinks.
The only scheduled meal to be eaten as a group will be Wed evening at 6 p. m. at Scooters Restaurant. Randal cuts and cooks all the steaks himself. He also fixes a very good PRIME RIB. I try to have on Tues. and other on Wed.
So come alone or bring a friend, or a whole group and ride the best roads that northwest Arkansas has to offer. Then when you decide enough is enough return to The Hub, cleanup, relax, and have a cool drink of (something).
Then before your big guts start eating your little ones walk over to Scooter's and let them fix you up.
There will be a truck and trailer available in case anyone has a problem. If you have any questions or problems call Jr. at 620 222 8489 or Randall at the Hub 870 743 4062.
