Our next Wednesday’s pick is Froggy’s in St. Mary’s, Ks. We are no strangers here. The weather will be in the upper 60’s to make a nice day’s ride. Many of us already know that Froggy’s provides a warm and inviting atmosphere while offering a menu with wide variety, from a traditional breakfast, to burgers, Mexican fajitas, or your mom’s hot beef. They are known for their hometown service and delicious home cooked meals.

PS or CAVEAT: This is for those who may be interested. In my last week’s closing post I made a reference to the Lamar Romeos in SW Missouri. Some may have read it and others may not. The point being is, they have changed the day for their meetings from Wednesday to Thursday. The only way to follow them is by Joe’s emails or using Gary Droege’s Map Links “to all scheduled Romeo rides” on the internet or our website. One caution here is to remember that SW Missouri Romeos or Lamar Romeos link on the Maps will disappear after that day’s ride is over but will reappear for the next week’s new ride.

It’s time to saddle up and to make our way out farther west for a nice relaxing ride to St. Mary’s Ks. “Happy Trails” and we’ll see you there!

It was beautiful day to ride today, enough so to take an unexpected detour to Froggy’s. Yes, about a 30 mi scenic tour around Perry lake to get back to Hwy 24. Oh well, it’s all about the ride, right? We still made pretty good time and made it to lunch only 15 minutes late. The beauty of Romeos . . . no dues, come when you want, stay as long as you want, and leave when you want! So, to quote my famous cliché, “It’s all about the RIDE!!!” OK, Here is how the day unfolded:
