How about “Wild Bill's Restaurant” in Rulo, Nebraska, for our next week’s ride? There are some of us who are wondering when we will get back to some longer rides. The answer has been, when “Old Man Winter” breaks to warmer temperatures! So, we’re in luck this next week . . . warmer temperatures! “Wild Bill's” is right on 159, on the west bank of the Missouri River just above Lewis and Clark's campsite.
Breakfast is served until 10:30 am, after that lunch starts. Kathy (the owner) is excited to have us next Wednesday. This place hosts large groups of motorcyclists frequently. Those of us who have been here many times can witness the food is great and the service is equally as good. I’m looking forward to this beautiful ride along the Missouri River. “Happy Trails” to everyone and hope to see as many as can make it.

I wasn’t really sure how many would turnout for our first long ride of the year, but again, you surprised me, and what a turnout we had! It wasn’t the warmest day of the year for a long ride, but it was doable.
It is always good to get together and to visit with some you who we haven’t seen in a while. I didn’t count heads today, but I did take a quick count of bikes in the parking lot. Not counting any who may have left, at the time I came up with 25.
Kathy & her daughter did a marvelous job of serving and making us all feel right at home. I trust everyone had a good time and had an enjoyable day of riding, as I did. I will now leave you with the photos taken and present you with how the day unfolded. Enjoy!
