JANUARY 17TH, LUNCH 11 AM, PERRY BAR & GRILL, PERRY, KS

Post by Al Hayes »

I missed being with you last week and now glad to be back in the saddle. After my viewing our last post it looks as though Mick found us another fabulous mom & pop eating establishment. I was told that the food and service was on par with everyone’s expectations. We’ll definitely have to keep it on our list for a return ride.

There have been some of you asking, “when will we be going back to Perry?” So, I’ve picked Perry Bar & Grill for our next Wednesday’s ride. It’s been a while since we’ve ridden here but we have always been received with a warm welcome every time. They’re always eager to host us! Looking at the forecast, it should be dry and heading for a high in the 30’s. After coming from deep freeze temperatures, it should be no problem for us Romeo’s to handle it!

There seems to be some talk about our Spring Rendezvous coming up in May. Bob Savner will be posting more details shortly before the end of this month. He tells me that we will be heading to Mountain Home, AR. this year. So, on that note, I wish you all “Happy Trails” and hope to see you there.

What a frosty day! 15 of us gathered together to share the effects of “Olé Man Winter” that has finally arrived. We were all restricted to riding in a cage for our transportation while joining each other today! Not a 2-wheeler in sight. Though it was somewhat frigid, the sunshine made the day more palatable. It was good to see all who could make it to the ride.
