How about a little BBQ for our pick for this next Wednesday’s ride. It’s been a while since we’ve frequented this place. And it’s bragging rights tell us that you will find some “amazing brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and the best pulled pork in the entire region … Biemer's BBQ has it all!”

It’s looking like we will have a nice day for riding. Unfortunately, I won’t be there because I have to attend one those unwanted medical appointments. Nevertheless, I’m sure our loyal & former “Romeo leader Mick Lowe” will take good care of everyone without fail.

I will feel like a fish out of water not getting to be with you all. But I will be eagerly looking forward to viewing the event on the WEB and seeing how everything unfolds that day, to say nothing about Mick’s gifted journaling! Again, “Happy Trails to you all until we meet again!”

We had 18 ROMEOS meet today for lunch at Biemer's BBQ. It was a beautiful day and there were 8 bikes in the lot so I'm assuming that 10 diners either drove or walked to lunch today. Although we all walked in the moment they opened the door it didn't take them long to get us through the line and food came out quickly.

Everyone seemed to be in no hurry to leave as there was a lot of table conversation and lingering after lunch. I guess that's the beautiful thing about being part of a "retired" organization is that there doesn't seem to be any criminal intent or legal consequences for being caught lingering.

The bbq at Biemer's is very good and the portions are quite generous so I guess we'll keep it on the list! We have one more ride left before the Christmas holiday and I know Al has a good one in store for us. We missed him today but I know he'll be back next week to assume his coordinatorly duties!

Overall, it was a great day to be a ROMEO!!
