I’m still “rockin’ & reelin’” from last week’s ride! What a great time we had visiting at the “Whistle Stop Cafe” & “Prothe’s Nut Farm.” Flashbacks Cafe in Tonganoxie is this next week’s Wednesday ride. I think 10ish is the way we are describing our breakfast & lunch rides now. They serve breakfast all day long and lunch specials are grilled cheeseburgers or a big ole’ tenderloin. Debbie is always more than welcoming and looks forward to seeing all of us ROMEOS again.

A quick reminder: I know many of us are already aware of what I’m about to say, but it bears repeating from time to time. The Romeo Riders are “Die-Hard” riders when it comes to riding to our destinations. We ride all year around, rain, snow or shine! My point is no one is ever too young or too old to ride with the Romeo Riders. We are a rare and unique bunch. You will find that there are no rules, programs, dues, or membership fees. It helps to be retired, but you don’t have to be “Retired” to join us. You will always be welcomed when riding with us.

I’m aware this ride is just a day before “THANKSGIVING,” and many of us may already be on our way to visit friends & relatives this week. But for those of us who are left in the balance here at home, Wednesday’s ride is still on. So then, “Happy Trails” and have a “HAPPY THANKSGIVING” to you all!

I’m sitting here thinking I’d better get this post out before it’s Christmas time (LOL)!

We had a good time gathering yesterday with 5 bikes & 16 riders, and that’s counting all those who rode in the cage. Not bad for the day just before THANKSGIVING! It was good to see all who could make it to our little gathering. Once again, I wish everyone a happy and enjoyable “Turkey Day” with family and friends!
