Al enjoyed his vacation so much that he decided he needed a little more time off from the stress-filled job of ROMEO coordinator so you're stuck with me for a couple more weeks! So I'll do my best to provide a place for us to hang out for lunch the next couple of Wednesdays.
It looks like another week of weather in the 60’s and 70’s but there’s a 50% chance of rain on Wednesday. Because of that I’m going to keep this one closer in just in case.
This should be a fun one and might even be worth a cage ride if it's pouring rain. This new brew pub recently opened in Baldwin and they have done a great job converting this old grocery store into a great space for eating and socializing.
Since they don’t open until 11:00, if you arrive a little early you can enjoy the ambience of downtown Baldwin City until it’s time for lunch.
So saddle up or buckle up and join us for a nice fall visit to Baldwin City.

I think that when most of us woke up this morning and checked the radar it looked like this.
So most of us decided that probably today was a day to crawl in the cage and hit the Baldwin Beer Company for lunch. All of us except for Dakota (and Ruth)!
So at least it was a ROMEO lunch because this is what the rest of the parking lot looked like.
We did have a nice turnout for a bad weather day with 21 ROMEOS showing up to enjoy a little lunch and fellowship. The food was excellent and this is a really nice place for a get-together.While we were inside eating lunch there was a brief downpour outside but for the most part it was occasional drizzle most of the time. I'm adding a little photo evidence just to let you know who showed up for the occasion. Thanks to everyone who showed up. In spite of the weather it was a great day to be a ROMEO!!
WE'VE HAD SOME PRETTY BIG PORK TENDERLOINS AT ROMEO RIDES BUT THIS ONE MIGHT JUST TOP THEM ALL!!
