Option A this week is the Rich Hill Café in Rich Hill, MO. We haven’t been since April and I think it’s time to return to the ROMEO favorite. They are looking forward to seeing us about 10:00.

Option B this week is an old favorite that we lost after the pandemic, Daddy's 10-13 Diner in Richmond, MO. With new management and now open on Tuesdays, we wanted to try them out before the season turns, so back to Richmond we go. Breakfast is served all day long, lunch starts at 11:00. I think 9:30 is a good time, breakfast special is three Belgian waffles for $7.95. Last time we were there was May 11, 2021. Weather looks cooler and dry, they do have a gravel lot, parking on the west side is flat and best.

Daddy's 10-13 Diner in Richmond was always a good Romeo friendly place, turns out they still are! Food was very good and judging from Marvin's order, nice large portions, service was quick, too. We had 17 total, one bike was a missed recruitment opportunity on my part, the gray haired rider saw our motorcycles and stopped in to eat, I didn't have a chance to talk to him. My younger brother Steve joined us today and Joe from Lamar rode up, too.

I counted 20 ROMEOS at Rich Hill this morning. It was especially nice for Carol Roberts to join us. Food and service were great and someone (Ted?) brought some pawpaws to share -- I though you were not supposed to bring your own food to a restaurant . Mick L was able to find Rich Hill this week and entertained us with the Pawpaw song. Another outstanding ROMEO morning and a great day for riding the Missouri country roads afterwards. It took me a long time to get home.
