My body has been wracked by a virulent pestilence, leaving me at death's door. The dreaded man cold. I feel like I'm going to die, but I'm afraid I won't. The general rule of thumb is that a cold is three days coming, three days with you, and three days going. I feel like I'm on day 179. I've been avoiding the garage because when I feel like this I start making silly mistakes that can, at least cost me money, or at worst, cause property damage or personal injury. I really don't like the idea of grabbing the wrong leaver and ending up with a Goldwing on my chest. So due to an abundance of caution I'm sitting today out. I did manage to get a ride scheduled. I figured I couldn't do too much damage with a telephone. I've been wanting to hit this place for a while now and the weather seems to be calming down enough to do it.
It looks like the forecast is holding and I'm looking forward to a good ride. it maps out to be about 1:15 trip so if we launch from the Rodeway Inn @ 10:45 It should put us there on time. This is a refreshing change. We usually hit this place when it's pretty cool.
