North Central Kansas Weekly Ride 8/23/23

It looks like summer is giving us another blast. The temps are supposed to be triple digits 102*. This isn't a real long ride, and I tried to get us in around 9:00, but they didn't think they could handle that many for breakfast. So I got us in as early as possible. We should be able to get out before the real heat hits. It's been just a year since our last visit here.

The heat is reeking havoc in my garage. I'm good for about 2 hours before my brain starts to fry and I revert to not being able to identify a motorcycle. It looks like we're in for this for most of the week. As miserable as it is I'll take this over bitter cold. After much planning and number crunching I have come to the conclusion that we should launch from the Iron Skillet @ 11:15.
