The long-range weather forecast looks like it will be in the low 80’s. Many of us are familiar with this place, it’s one of our all-time favorites. It is the one and only cafe located near the Pomona Dam on Ks. Hwy 268. The cafe has graciously reserved their back room just for us. This is a breakfast or lunch ride, so come early or late as you wish, it won’t matter the time. Just come and enjoy the day! Until then, “Happy Trails” and hope to see you there!

FYI: Next Tuesday there’s an all ROMEOS GATHERING, including our families for a 4TH of July Celebration at Harold’s BBQ, 11am, in Freeman, MO. I hope to see you there!

I woke up this morning feeling fine with “Green Acer’s Family Restaurant on my mind. That being said, my number one concern this morning was what’s the weather going to be for the day, riding dry or wet, will I take the 2-wheeler or 4-wheel cage. Vah Walla!! It was dry here in Olathe all the way to Pomona and then came a little bit of light rain. But hardly enough to even complain about with 6 miles to go to our final destination.

I was quite impressed how many braved getting out to join in with us today. Every group from the “Early Birds” to the “Breakfast” and “Lunch” crowd were represented, including some of our ROMEOS from the “KC” group. I regularly give thanks for all our Romeo Riders who keep giving me their company, so I never have to eat alone after reaching our varied destination rides. Thank you everyone. And thank you Swanee for all the backup photos today . . . "Early Birds" & Bikes!!
