South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, June 7, 11:00 AM

We haven't been to Galva for a while, and a few of us have expressed a desire to return to the 56 Family Restaurant. We've been there before, and always had good food and service. They serve all the usual cafe fare, and offer breakfast all day. (I like the homemade sausage and biscuits and gravy.)

Galva is east of McPherson on Highway 56, about fifty-five miles from Wichita. (For a change, some of us will get in more miles than Ron...)

Right now it looks like the weather will be fine for riding. If that changes, hop in the car or truck and join us anyway.

WOWZER!! The food and portions are fantastic at the 56 Family Restaurant. If you leave The 56 hungry and you cleaned your plate, you are super human! My chicken fried steak was larger than the platter it was presented on. I am confident all ROMEO's were pleased today.

We had a nice turnout of 30 ROMEO's who ganged up in the 56 Family Restaurant, the 30 arrived on 29 bikes. Total one way mileage was 1476 miles!! Gram rode 81 miles from Augusta on his Harley to be long distance rider. The lowest mileage rider was a wimpy, measly short 14 puny miles ridden by Moundridge Ron on his Harley. (had to pick on him, he is usually high miles rider) A few were in the 40 miles range while most were in the 60 and above range.

A great day, many miles ridden, super food and comradery among ROMEO. Totally awesome. We appreciate the North gang joining us!!
