SPRING RENDEZVOUS - MAY 15-17, 2023

Ok, it time to start preparing for our “Spring Rendezvous - 2023”. The chosen destination is Eureka Springs, AR. Bob Savner is our coordinator and point man for this event. All ROMEO GROUPS: are invited to this event on May 15-17, 2023, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, at the Super 8 Motel, 3010 E. Van Buren, Eureka Springs, Arkansas for three days of fun and riding. Most of us are familiar with this popular little town nestled among the scenic mountains of northwestern Arkansas.

HOW TO REGISTER: Call Super 8 Motel 479-253-5040 or 800-986-9733, ask for Lynn Worley, General Mgr. he is our contact rep. & coordinator for this motel in Eureka Springs (best times to reach Lynn are Wednesday, Thursday, & Fridays. As a point of interest, the motel will be offering a hot morning breakfast. Every evening there is free cobbler & ice cream as an added bonus for all their guests.

ROOMS: double queen beds, $79.95, rooms by the pool, $84.95. Twenty rooms have been reserved for us and more can be added if necessary. It is my guess that the rooms will fill up fast. If you should find that no rooms are available, there are plenty of motels in and around Eureka Springs.

If you’re into camping, there are excellent facilities in and around Eureka for that as well. Feel free to bring your camping gear and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. If you want to bring your RV or trailer, there are sites available for hookups.

Wednesday night there will be a traditional dinner together at 7 pm at “Maggie Mays” which is in the Best Western Hotel. You will be ordering from a menu. After our dinner at 8:30 pm, we will retire to the Super 8 Motel for a "50/50" drawing. For those interested in this drawing there will be tickets sold at the door & throughout the 3-day event.

This information will be readily available for all to read throughout the winter months & into May until this event takes place. It will be posted on the DISCUSSION FORUM. All info can be copied by the forum coordinators at their pleasure. It’s not any too early to start planning and get your room reserved. I'm going to have to cancel; the new knee isn't up to riding long distance or loading and unloading from the truck yet. My double room is available if anyone needs it. I'll see everyone at the fall Rendezvous.

For all who are interested, I’m posting some of the captured events of our “2023, Spring Rendezvous.” We all were thankful for our rides not being totally dominated by rain. There was lots of variety of weather, with some sunshine to rain and temperatures from cool to a comfortable 75º degrees. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Enjoy the photos below:
