Brunch, Wed,17th,10a,Red River Cafe in Leslie

Wednesday @ 10am at a NEW place that looks pretty good. Little red river cafe just South of the bridge on 65 past the turn to Leslie. I called them and they serve breakfast until 11.

Just a few of us regulars--but we had a surprise visit from "Long John" who rode from the ROMEO meet in Eureka Springs. We were also joined by 3 Patriot Guard riders on their way to a Goldwing meet in Harrison. The restaurant was nice with a varied menu and reasonable prices. One of the locals there saw me taking a photo of the old railroad bridge and told me to look up the dinky RR---which I did and will post the link with the info.
On the way back I took 66 to Mountain View and stopped at a new restaurant where the old Mikey's BBQ used to be. It is "MC restaurant" and has been open since Aug 2022. We will try it sometime ( I have their phone and menu)
Also on the way home I spent some $$$ (more on that later).
