This afternoon I received word that Randy Roberts, Kansas City Ride Coordinator, passed away today (May 3) while returning from a ROMEO lunch in Paola. It's hard to imagine that any ROMEO wouldn't know Randy and consider him a friend. He was a stalwart of our community and seldom missed a ROMEO lunch. He set up lunch rides, posted pictures, wrote up the rides, coordinated events, not just for Kansas City but for other ROMEO groups. He was one of the people that keep us going--we will miss you Randy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carol and family in this time of sorrow.
Cremation, with a visitation Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 9, 2023 also at the funeral home.
