1/24/23 Big Creek Cafe, Pleasant Hill, MO or Roxanne's, Parkville, MO

Post by LongJohn »

Option A this week is an old Romeo favorite, Big Creek Café in Pleasant Hill, MO. We had scheduled a visit last December but they had a problem and didn't open. They have always been a great Romeo spot for us and we are going back. They open early and serve breakfast until 11:00 then lunch after 11:00. 10:00 sounds like a good time to me. Hope to see you there.

We had 20 Romeos or guests at Roxanne's Parkville today, one rider, even though Gary and Mary (Parkville Rider) couldn't make it, they had three of their friends join us, glad to see you all!
This was the 5th week at Roxanne's Cafe Parkville, we will be switching to Roxanne's Cafe Platte City beginning January 31st for the next 5 weeks. I will send out an email reminder for the move to Roxanne's Cafe Platte City, MO.

I'm still not quite in the groove. I forgot to count how many but I took pictures and it looks like 20 or 21 today at Big Creek Cafe. I almost forgot the after ride post but I did remember and here it is. We had 5 riders today on a cold morning! We had a great group this morning and the conversation was lively and wide ranging at my table. We talked about airplanes, boats, skiing (water and and snow), best bikes for newbies, riding in crosswinds, and on and on.
