It’s been a long time since the Romeos’ have ridden to Lecompton. As I was surfing the archives, I saw one of Mick’s posts when he was our coordinator stating that the last time we were invited to Aunt Netters Cafe for lunch it was, “colder than a well digger's drill bit in January”. This shouldn't be a problem for us this time. The forecast calls for the 30’s/40’s. But you will want to bundle up for our CHRISTMAS PARTY on the 20th. It will be cold and heading for colder for the rest of the month of December, Burrrrr!!!!
For those of you who don’t know, Aunt Netters kitchen isn't very big, so they can't serve both breakfast and lunch at the same time. At 11 am breakfast ends and lunch starts. I was informed to tell everyone that if anyone asks to order breakfast after 11am there will be an absolute “NO” without any arguments! In plain language, there should be no hassling the help! On that happy note, Netters Cafe has plenty of space in the dining area for visiting and we can take pretty good advantage of that. So, with all that being said, “Happy Trails” to you all and hope to see you there next Wednesday.
FYI: DECEMBER 20TH, 11AM, CHRISTMAS PARTY LUNCH! All Romeo groups will be meeting for our annual Christmas party. We will be meeting at Sneed’s BBQ in Belton, MO. Because of the busy Holiday Season, I will not be posting any more weekly rides until our first ride on Sunday January 1st, NEW YEARS DAY, 2023! I then will post our new year weekly rides starting with Wednesday, January 4th, 2023. Hopefully by then, we all will be ready for another year of exciting and adventuresome rides, 2, 3, or 4 wheels, you pick which one and I hope to see you all there!

FYI: Brad, our T-Shirt man, delivered most of our shirt orders today. Speaking of T-Shirts, Lee & Verna, I’ve got your shirts and can deliver them to you at our “Christmas Party” next week, or feel free to contact me and I can meet you somewhere to deliver them to you.
Well, today was a little bit frosty for open-air riding, but after arriving at our destination it was well worth it. As always, I love gathering with our gang. Hey, even Santa joined in with us this morning! Did any of you get on his list for Christmas?
I had an illusion this morning of be the very first one to arrive at Netter’s, but then the proprietor informed me that there were three other riders who had already come and gone. All I could say was, “Really!!!” Well, that’s the beauty of being a Romeo Rider, it’s a destination ride and we can come and go however it suits us.
In closing this post, I want to wish everyone of you a very “Merry Christmas”! It as been a joy and a real pleasure riding with all of you to our various restaurants & cafes throughout this year. Hope you all have safe and “Happy Trails” throughout the “Holiday Season!” Hope you can make it to our Romeo Riders Christmas Party, if not we will look for you at our next roundup 2023.
