Ok time to mix it up a little bit for next Wednesday. We are approaching “Ole Man Winter” season. The weather forecast is predicted to be in the 20's & 30’s with some possible flakes (25%). If you’re anything like me last week, this place is close enough to home so that you’ll have enough time to catch a nice warm afternoon nap.

El Potro Mexican Cafe is not new to us. We’ve been here before in June 2021. You may want to take note that this Mexican Cafe is located in Lawrence, Ks. and not in Paola or Bonner Springs, Ks (just saying). But it is a place that we all enjoy eating some good Mexican cooking. It opens at 11:00 am for lunch. You can order a full meal deal, combo's, (or) a la carte singles to your own liking.

FYI REMINDERS: You will want to put this on your calendar. This will be the last of our Romeo rides for this year. I’m assuming that many of us will be plenty busy preparing for the Holidays. December 20th, 11am, every Romeo Rider across all the groups, are invited to our annual ROMEOS CHRISTMAS LUNCH. We will be meeting at Sneed’s BBQ in Belton, MO.

We had a great crowd today and mild temperatures to go along with it … made it good for riding the two wheelers and three wheelers. I want to thank whoever it was who paid for my lunch! I can't begin to express enough my deepest feelings and gratitude for your generosity. When I asked the management about my not receiving a lunch receipt, he reassured me that all receipts had been paid. Once again, thank you with a grateful heart!!!

All that being said, I got some good photos of all those in attendance. I would have taken some pictures of all the bikes, but I was having too much fun socializing and missed the opportunity for a photo-opt of the many bikes parked in the parking lot. That too is a real bummer, because there two gorgeous new “Triumphs” glistening in the afternoon sunshine and just waiting for someone to come along and take a photo.
