Option A this week is a lunch spot, El Potro Mexican Cafe in Bonner Springs. They come highly recommended by one of our ROMEOs. They open at 11:00 and that looks like a good time. The restaurant sits about a half block west of K-7 just north of I-70, behind the Phillips station. It’s December so expect cold weather. Hope to see you there.

Option B this week will be Hilltop Market and Cafe in Easton, Kansas. A favorite for food, service and pie, breakfast is served till 11:00, Tuesday specials are tacos and Mexican dishes. I think 10:00 will be a good time, weather looks like a winter day, hope to see you there.

We had 16 Romeos at Hilltop Market in Easton this morning, Even though it was 35 degrees at 10:00, all but one of the five riders were there early. Great service and food, plenty of pie left with us!

We had 18 for lunch at El Potro in Bonner this morning. Joe rode in from Lamar, probably a little over 2 hours, on this cold morning. Mick deserves honorable mention riding in from Lawrence. 3 others rode in from a lot closer. The food and service were good and they arranged one long table for us. I see Al was at Easton this morning, maybe 2 El Potro lunches in two days is too much for him. Some of our group studied the menu closely so they would have their order ready for tomorrow in Lawrence. I am doing some traveling over the holidays and won't be back until the second week in January so Happy Holidays to everyone. As usual, Randy is stepping up to take care of everything until I return.
