After our monthly meeting we took a ride to Harper's Ferry. There is still a lot of good color, but most of the day was overcast, so the colors were not as spectacular as we had hoped. Full sun came out for the ride home and it was beautiful.
We have eaten at the Rabbit Hole several times and the food has been very good, however we didn't feel the food was as good as usual. Not only does Jeanmaries' fish 'n chips not look appealing, it was dry and overcooked. It was so bad she didn't take anything home to Jon. My chicken nuggets were the same, dry and overcooked. Nothing fresh, all frozen, dry and overcooked. This was the first time we were not happy. We will certainly go back and the view makes it all worth it.
