For this week's destination, here is a real favorite or ours, and haven’t been to Hilltop since May of last year. This is Kansas, so anything can change, but prospects look fairly good right now weather wise. I see 73 for a high and showing 55% precipitation.

Talked to Jennifer (the owner) and Jenny (the manager) and they are looking forward to seeing us and are glad to see us coming. They do serve breakfast until 10:30 AM. Lunch starts at 11 AM but if we ask nicely, they may still make you breakfast for lunch if you want it. Now how is that for service! Most everyone who has been here knows that these folks are down home and good at what they do! With my biased opinion I would say they are the best at serving “Good Ole” country cooking!

ROMEO RIDER WENT DOWN & RESCUED:

A quick update as to Ed James’ condition since being in the hospital. The doctors felt like he would heal fine, but he's wearing a neck brace for at least 3 weeks. He will have some follow ups in KC, but hopefully no surgeries, just time to heal. It is remarkable, considering the situation and conditions around where it happened.

It never ceases to amaze me how often when our group gathers together it is with such heartwarming “Pizzazz” that each one of you have. It is always so pleasant and just makes one want to hang around and linger longer! Again, I so much enjoyed the day and, to top it off, what a most perfect day to ride. I hope everyone got out and enjoyed the rest of this beautiful day that was presented to us.
