South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday, October 5, 11:00 AM

The weather looks like it should be cooler than last week; a good chance to put some miles on the bikes and some good food in our stomachs. We'll head a little further west, to the Krazy Horse in Attica.

We've been to the Crazy Horse several times, but it's been over a year since our last visit. The food and service have been good every time. The menu is fairly extensive: lots of appetizers, sandwiches of all types, salads, steaks, and a bit of seafood. Everyone should be able to find something to their liking.

Attica is a little over sixty miles, a bit more than an hour, from Wichita via K42, K2 and US160. For a more scenic route, at the cost of a few extra miles, you can take K42 all the way west to its intersection with K14. K14 will take you south to US160. The Krazy Horse is on the west side of Attica; US160 and Avenue C are the same street through town.

As a tradition we loitered around the parking area waiting for the Krazy Horse to open. Great conversation and some unrelated B-S was passed around.

The Krazy Horse welcomed us a few minutes early, and went to work pleasing the group. Amazing food, as always.

We had 22 riders roll into the parking area of the Krazy Horse on 22 motorcycles. The total one way mileage for the 22 machines was 1486 miles! Moundridge Ron rolled his 2021 Harley a whopping 105 one way miles to be top mileage rider. We had no wimpy rider this week, the lowest mileage report was 60 miles from two riders. Was a great, cool day for rolling the machines!
