AUGUST 24TH, 11:00 AM, LUNCH RIDE, LOUISBURG BBQ & PIZZA, LOUISBURG, KS

Post by Al Hayes »

This will be lunch only. It is an old favorite destination ride for the KC South group … especially for their long-time faithful coordinator Randy Roberts . For those of you who aren’t familiar with this place, it changed hands and its name from “Big L’s BBQ” to “Louisburg BBQ & Pizza.” This was one of Randy’s favorite places to go for BBQ. So, I booked this one just for you Randy!

They open at 11:00 am. So, let’s make this ride one for the “Gipper” and for any Tuesday riders who have so enjoyed an old favorite. This BBQ place still knows how to feed the Romeos so that no one should leave hungry.

As of now the weather appears to be mild and in the 80’s. Until then, "Happy Trails" to you all and hope to see you there!

WOW!!! Get a load of this. Look at all the bikes parked out in the parking lot. What a gang! Even when I come early, I’m late. When arriving and seeing all the bikes and everyone waiting for the place to open, thoughts are, what a day this is going to be. And what a day it was. I think the photos will speak for themselves and verify all that I’ve said. I must say Alice and her one waiter did a terrific job waiting on our entire crew.

So, now let’s take a gander at this SHOW & TELL and see how it may lead us down memory lane.
