This will be a good lunch ride. We haven’t been to Guy & Mae’s in a while. Hopefully all the April showers that bring May flowers will have slowed down a little to let us saddle up for an enjoyable ride to Williamsburg. I’ve put an order in for a nice bright sunny day! Let’s see what happens.

I’m assuming most of us are familiar with this BBQ. It’s somewhat out in the countryside in the open air just southwest of Ottawa, Ks. This is a relaxed, no-nonsense smokehouse serving barbecued ribs, sandwiches & classic side dishes. If you recall from our last visit, they had to sell all their US$ hanging from the ceiling & pinned on the walls to just keep the doors open during the COVID19 nightmare.

For those of you that haven’t been there, I think you will love the atmosphere and food. I may do my usual and order a carryout slab to take home. You will find plenty of variety on the menu to choose from.

What a day! Just what the doctor ordered! Spring has sprung! We had almost the perfect day to ride, all but the wind and that was doable. Lori with all her crew did a fabulous job serving everyone. I think we made their day! I'm still eating those luscious ribs that I ordered yesterday.

We had quite a good gathering today and enjoyed seeing everybody. It was good to have Mike Herman back with us again after going through COVID19 and then his recovery from having a knee replacement.

OK, no need to prolong it any longer, so let's get right to it: SHOW & TELL TIME!
