It looks like it's going to be in the upper 60s for next Wednesday along with some precipitation. It’s not what I was wishing for, but I’m always ready to adjust when it comes to the pleasures of getting together with all you ROMEOS and friends.
So, 2 wheels or 4 it's time for us to saddle up and head out to Green Acres, another one of our favorites. Breakfast or lunch all day! The food is fabulously delicious, and the menu choices are phenomenal. They are also holding the back room just for us.
So, as you go out the door Wed. don’t forget to bring your rain gear! Rain or Shine is our motto, “Happy Trails” to you all and hope to see you then.

Well, despite a blustery day we still had a bunch of brave souls willing to gather at “Green Acres Family Restaurant” for an enjoyable time of sharing, as always. The weather turned out to be better than what was expected. Coming from Olathe there were only a few drops on the way, but not enough to mention. And “narr-yee” a drop heading back home! The folks at the restaurant were more than happy to see us. All-in-all everyone had a good time telling stories and kicking tires.
“SPRING RENDEZVOUS” UPDATE:
There was some discussion today about our upcoming “Spring Rendezvous”. We have been made aware that there are some who might like to attend if they could find a bunk buddy and would be interested in sharing a room. Don Spangler is looking for someone like this. Anyone else who would like to find someone to share a room, talk to Bob Savner, our coordinator, for the three-day rendezvous (contact info is on our WEB). As an addendum, there may still be some rooms available for May 9-11, especially if there have been any cancellations.
Anyway, it was a better day today than I had anticipated. It was good to get together again. So, “Happy Trails to everyone until the next roundup!
