MARCH 30th, 11 AM, JEFFERSON’S, LAWERENCE, KS

Post by Al Hayes »

If you haven’t been to Jefferson’s, you will find an easygoing, warm & welcoming establishment specializing in chicken wings, burgers & oysters. If you crave excellent chicken wings Jefferson’s in West Lawrence has the best that you will find anywhere.

It looks like it will be wet, cold, and in the 60’s for a high. But hopefully, it won’t keep those of us who still want to venture out and make the best of it for the day. It always brightens my day to gather with the Romeos, discussing any water that has gone over the bridge and visiting with like minds and friends. So, “Happy Trails” to everyone and hope to see you all next Wed. at Jefferson’s in Lawrence, Ks.

14 of us and 2 bikes, not bad for a cold, damp, and dreary day. Jefferson’s was just the ticket for a warm delicious lunch and time together. Again, it was good seeing everyone who could make it. Our little waitress did a good job in meeting our need and wants. I trust she was rewarded well for all her excellent work. I think this place made the list for being a keeper.

Placing a picture of one of our comrades (Bohn F. of 74 yrs.) who rode to Amsterdam, Ks yesterday, displayed an exercise on how to stay young and fit. If you’ve never done this before, a word to the wise, it should be done at your own risk hoping nothing will go south for you! Just saying!

So now, let’s take another look at our today’s activities and the jolly olé group who showed up today:
