The rain should be over by departure time next Wednesday; the ride may be a bit cool, but we can bundle up and head south for some barbeque at Boss Hog's in Winfield. The food and service are very good, and they appreciate our business.
Boss Hog's doesn't open until 11:00, so there's no need to show up early unless you want to kick tires and BS in the parking lot. If the weather is slow to improve, or just not to your liking, it's OK to arrive by car. (Four wheels is better than going hungry...)
We've had a couple of suggestions for new locations, northwest and east, that I'll try to work into the schedule as we move in those directions. If you have a suggestion for a new place, or an old favorite you'd like to revisit, please let me know.

Boss Hog's BBQ - Roger was spot on with the comment 'Boss Hog's doesn't open until 11:00, so there's no need to show up early' but still, a dozen of us arrived 15 minutes early and slivered on the parking area until opening time, yep, 11AM.
Boss Hog did not disappoint, food was plentiful and super tasty. I and several others had a BBQ beef sandwich, and a few enjoyed the BBQ salad. Bottom line: Everyone had a nice BBQ meal and enjoyed the conversation afterward.
We had 17 sign the book today. Four of us arrived on our Harley-Davidson motorcycles and all others arrived in car and 4 door pickup trucks, heaters warming and calm conversations within. The top mileage rider was David, he rolled his Harley 36 miles from north of Derby, I was wimpy and coldest rider from my garage in Mulvane at 28 one way miles.
Lets gang up and enjoy lunch again next week. Roger will post the ride late this week. See you next Wednesday.

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not sure.
If you don't take the time to do it right, you'll find the time to do it twice.
