South Central Lunch Ride: Wednesday March 9, 11:00 AM

Wednesday's weather looks a little questionable, so I'm keeping us close in again. We're almost out of winter, and running out of our close-by winter locations. I don't think anyone will object to visiting Boudreaux's again, one of our old favorites. They have burgers, hot dogs, chicken, and some other choices. I've never been disappointed with my lunch there, Brian says it's one of his favorite burger joints, and Harley Charlie claims it's the best burger within 300 miles of Mulvane.

Peck is just south of the Sumner/Sedgwick county line on Meridian. The address is 1499 N. Meridian in Peck, which is actually on the southwest corner of 119th South and Meridian.

Boudreux's is about seventeen miles south of Wichita: not too far to drive if the weather isn't to your liking, and close enough to ride if you bundle up. You can always ride and take the long way home if the day's better than predicted. They don’t open the doors until 11:00 AM, so be prepared to kill some time in the parking lot if you arrive early.

We wish General Lee, aka Bob Lee a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Today he made 82 years! Congratulations Mr Robert Lee, count onward many more years.

Always a great time visiting with ROMEO's and chowing down at Boudreux Burger Barn!! Best burger in the Sunflower state of Kansas, I say. They jumped into it and got us served in prompt time. I enjoyed the burger and tots meal. Whatever combo you ordered, I am sure you enjoyed it also.

We had 20 ROMEO's show up today. The 20 came in on - one on a three wheel trike, three on 2 wheel motorcycles and 16 made it within 4 wheel cages. Two thumbs up for the bike riders. Total of four motorcycle mileage equals 73 one way miles.

Lets do it again next week. Plan is to go east, weather looks good now, lets hope it holds until then.
