SEPTEMBER 29th, 10:00 AM, FROGGY’S, ST MARYS, KS

Post by Al Hayes »

Our trails led north & east last week so let's go south & west this week. Many of us are no strangers to Froggy’s, and Lizzy immediately remembered us, giving us a green light and warm welcome back. So, hopefully the weather will cooperate with us. It doesn't appear that there are to be any “Toad Soakers” anytime soon. It's been a while since we have been drenched by rain. Rain or shine, let's head on out to St Marys for some real good food and good old ROMEO “scuttlebutt”. They do serve breakfast and switch over to lunch between 10:30 and 11:00, so keep that in mind.

I want to thank all of you for your generous donations and support that you have given to the "Romeo Riders" website. There can never be too much said about your kind generosity. If there is still someone who would like to give to this cause you can, just see me or Swanee and we will get it to the right place. This will be our last week this year for fund raising. “Happy Trails” and hope to see ya all at Froggy's:

We had 20 bikes and about 23 people at Froggy's on a day that was mostly cloudy looking like showers here and there, but actually it was nice riding weather. Hopefully everybody got in all the riding they wanted to today and got back home dry--the showers didn't start where I am until mid-afternoon. Froggy's is still a real good spot for us to go to and I think everybody enjoyed it whether they were there for the first time or had been there before like most of us. Al's up in Wisconsin right now but glad he picked this one for us to go back to. Here's a few pics...
