There are times when you just can’t remember a password for a website. No problem, just request a new one! (Just write it down this time!)
So if you can’t remember just click on the text “I forgot my password” on the login panel.

Then you will see the following:

Here you must enter your username and your email address. If you can't remember your username either you will have to send me an email so I can look you up. I need your email address to find you. To email me look on the right side under my picture and name where is says "Contact" and a little bubble. Click on the bubble and then click the little envelop icon on the right side. That will open a window where you can send me an email.
After you correctly identify yourself you will see a brief message that a new password was sent to your email address (note it will disappear after a few seconds).
You will receive an email that says something like this:
“You are receiving this notification because you have (or someone pretending
to be you has) requested a new password be sent for your account on
"ROMEOS". If you did not request this notification then please ignore it,
if you keep receiving it please contact the board administrator.
To use the new password you need to activate it. To do this click the link
provided below.

If successful you will be able to login using the following password:
Password: (snipped)
You can of course change this password yourself via the profile page. If
you have any difficulties please contact the board administrator.[/size]
If you don’t like that randomly generated password and would like to change it to something more user-friendly just go to your profile and change it.
In the upper right corner you will see your name, click on it and you will see a little dropdown box with options:

Click on the “User Control Panel” and you will then see:

Click on the second tab at the top that says “Profile”

Now click on “Edit account settings”
Here is where you can choose your own password. Note that you must include your current password for authentication. This is so no one else can access this and change your password without your knowledge (not even me!).
So now you know how to reset your password and also choose your own custom password.
