For the final Wednesday of 2020 that is officially "winter" per the calendar if just barely, let's go to a closeby place that's got real good burgers (their specialty) and serves breakfast too. When we went to the Shack last time back in Feb. of 2019 there was ice and snow all over the place plus extreme cold and we only had 6 who were able to make it there. This time it looks like all we'll have to deal with is a 50/50 chance of rain and the temps will at least be above freezing--if we're lucky maybe even spring-like. So ride or drive this time more ROMEOs should be able to make it over to the Shack and get a taste what they've been missing out on:

Will call today and make sure they're not closing or doing take-out only like some places. If the Shack is open for business as usual I plan to be there. People our age group especially have each got to make their own decisions about what places to go and not go depending on their health situation etc.
Called YES open and serving.

Not many people or pictures this time but the burgers are still darn good! Today we had 3 and that's a full half what we had at the Shack last year when it wasn't even a good day to drive a car. Looks like most of our group has decided to "shelter in place" for the time being anyway.
I'm in agreement with Roger Smith's post (South Central group) about the whole virus situation and ROMEO rides--good assessment Roger. IF the weather stays looking as good as it does now might post something for next week in a small town and the group will likely be small again. Unless the gov orders all restaurants to close there are definitely some places out there that would appreciate a little ROMEO business. So we'll play it by ear.
As a guy on the Triumph forum was saying, riding motorcycles is a great "social distancing" activity because you only come in contact if you have really bad luck. So folks we're going to doing some riding this season for sure!
