We took a direct route to Wardensville. It was cloudy which made the 44 degree temperature seem pretty cold. Tom had to warm himself by holding his hot tea. It was good that we made it a short ride.

This is a map of the route we took home, Trout Gap, Wolfe Gap to Fort Valley Road. It was one of the prettiest rides I have been on in Virginia. Warren had introduced me to Fort Valley Road before and it has to be one of my favorites.

After lunch Tom put on all the clothes he could find and we hit the road for the 1:55 minute ride home. Much to my surprise upon leaving the restaurant the sun came out and made the 50 degree temperature quite pleasant.

Thanks for taking a chance and riding with me. It was the first time I didn't have to turn around or ride on gravel. I hope you enjoyed the ride as much as I did.

Ride Safe, hope to see you next time
Roger
