Lunch 11 AM September 11, Hell Rayzor's Roadhouse, Harveyville, KS

Post by schoolmaster »

I know that some are going to be in Arkansas next week for the Fall Rendezvous but for those of us that can't attend, we still need a place to meet for lunch on Wednesday. This is a place that we have always wanted to schedule but they didn't open until noon and some didn't want to meet that late. But they now open at 11 AM and I hear that the burgers are definitely worth the trip. I've never tried one but I'm going to make the plunge this week at:

Hell Rayzor's Roadhouse
13404 Harveyville Rd.
Harveyville, KS 66431
785.589.2299

Looks like it should be a pretty decent day to ride so if you make it to Harveyville we can say howdy!

I didn't know what to expect today since the Fall Rendezvous was on for today, but 32 ROMEOS showed up for lunch in Harveyville today. I don't know how much hell was razed by our group but I do know there was a lot of bull shot and a whole lot of beef eaten at Hell Rayzor's today! It was a beautiful day for riding even though it warmed up a bit on the way home. Still, lots of nice country roads to ride home no matter which way you left from Harveyville.

I don't know how "bad-ass" the burgers were, but I do know that they were huge and half of mine came home in a take-out container. There was a bit of a wait for some of us to get served but it didn't matter much whether we were visiting out in the parking lot or sitting around the table in air conditioned comfort. Other than being a little slow, this is a great place to come for lunch! Good roads, good weather, good food, good friends-indeed it was a great day to be a ROMEO!
