N. Central Arkansas group

Post by arkyleo »

On Tuesday, Sep. 10th, lets meet at P.J.'s Rainbow Cafe in Mountain View. around 8:30A. They serve a really good breakfast there! For those that can ride afterwards, Barry has suggested a curvy scenic route from there, through Guion to Melbourne. As always, forward this meet notice, or call a friend to join us. Cheers, Leo :)

Just curious, how many are showing up for your rides? I don't seen any comments on previous rides as to whether or not you considered the location was good, etc. If you are getting enough participation, we could lobby for your own thread. As you can see, I have been adding your locations to the Ride Map although it is sometimes not large enough to show your spot without zooming the map out.

Keep up the good work!

Gary: We had 6 at Mammoth Springs--with several new people. I think as word gets out, more interest is generated. We are not quite ready for a regular posting slot, but hopefully it would be feasible soon. Thanks for the big map URL.

Gary: I forgot my camera--but Barry remembered his and took a few pix of the 4 of us (yes 4). After breakfast and b/s, Barry led us through Guion, Melbourne, then back towards Mtn Home, for 2 of us. Got kinda warm and we were done by noon. Here's a link to Barry's photos:

Nice to see you enjoying the day. Hope it gets cooler but then it will be cold soon afterward. You need to spread the word so more will follow your breakfasts/lunch rides. Hope to see you down the road.
