The weather looks like it has a chance of being good for a ride on Friday. So the High Point Cafe looked like a nice ride and a good lunch. Colony is about 11 miles north of Iola Ks on highway 169 and east about 1 mile. Colony is built on top of a hill. As you get to the crest of the hill there is a bank on the north side of Broad Street and the High Point Cafe on the South side.
The girls at the cafe were glad to hear from the ROMEO'S. They serve breakfast until 11:00 and then turn to lunch. So be there a little before the changeover if you want the breakfast menu.

It seems the weather for March has had a lot of cold wet Fridays. We will see warmer dryer times in the near future making it more pleasant for riding. Those that did ride to Colony today seemed a little cool especially with all the cloud cover. There were six that rode today with Swanee coming all the way from Topeka. Following are a few pictures from today. Hope you enjoy, we did.
