This is a new cafe that has just been open a few weeks. It is in the same building as the old Eastside Cafe which is on the southeast corner of the Girard square. Fred and I looked it over and the food looked very good. The cafe serves breakfast all day for $3.99 to $5.29 and has a lunch special for Friday. The special will be pot roast or cod fish for $6.99

Re: 2/10/17 11:00 EASTSIDE CAFE GIRARD KS
It was a good day in southeast Kansas for the Romeos today. It was sunny with temps reaching mid 60's with a little wind up to 30 mph. Those riding north going home could just coast. Those riding east or west only had to use one side of their tires thus increasing the available rubber for extra miles on those skins. Those going south had to buy extra fuel to get home. We had 21 Romeos from as far as Lawrence Ks, Blue Springs, Mo and Independence Ks today that came for breakfast or lunch at the Eastside Café in Girard. The Eastside us under new management and they did a good job. Following are pictures taken today. Enjoy.
