I apologize for not getting a report about our visit to The Greenery in Iola on the 6th posted. Suffice it to say the 13 who were there certainly left well-fed from the buffet. And, what a great day for a ride! Loyal, Fred and Eloise brought the pickup and on the way home noticed a place in Gas, Kansas. (Hwy 54 East of Iola) They checked it out and are recommending we visit there on the 13th.
My forecaster says 57 and sunny. If the winds are light, I'm looking forward to another nice ride. The cafe opens at 6 a.m. and will serve breakfast anytime for us. The buffet opens at 11:00. So, I decided 10:30'sh might make sense and we all can have our favorites. Here's the scoop...

We had another great Friday on which to take a ride. Early in the season we couldn't catch a break with rain nearly each Friday. Making up for it now in November...at least so far. Here are a few pics I took at Gas, Kansas on the 13th. This place recently re-opened and did a good job. The breakfast orders were good and, from what I saw, the buffet looked pretty darn good.
