Shoreham Airport 14th September

Post by Alb1on »

One of our group is currently taking flying lessons on helicopters at Shoreham Airport in Sussex. The airport has a beautiful Art Deco main building and Jeff, the pupil, suggested it might make a good venue for this month's Romeo run.

Although not visible in this picture the interior has remained unchanged since the 30's and is similarly Art Deco in style.

Just thought I’d drop a “Hello” from Wichita, Kansas USA. Grandfather (William G.P.Wiltshire) was from Bristol U.K. I ride with the S.E. Kansas ROMEO group. Safe travels to you all.
