Smoky's in Wellsville Ks 8/8/17 10:30

Post by rcrgl1800 »

Roger has gone to Wisconsin and he has left his duties in the hands of Gary, Bob, Dan and Randy. So here we go through the country side to one of our favorite BBQ places that serves a breakfast or lunch that everyone seems to enjoy. Somokey's we are on our way. I talked with Heather and alerted her we were heading their way and she said they will be glad to take care of us a gain. She has been there and helped take care of us several times in the past. So lets go. As Roger says "10:30 is a good time". As the rest of us know anytime is a good time early or late. See you there.

Gary will update the map shortly. Thanks for your help.

The crowd today at Smokey's came in at 100+. Romeos filled the place three times with some arriving as early as 8:30. When I arrived at shortly after 9:30 the first group was starting to leave making room for the second wave. As the second wave was finishing the third wave was coming in. Several didn't get there until after 11:30. I got several pictures and I hope Gary and Bob will also post theirs. Hope you all enjoyed your ride, the meal and your day.

Agreed, we think this might have been one of the most perfect days this summer for a Romeo RTE!
