The last time we were at Jamie's, Junior and Shirley rode all the way up from Oxford, KS, near Wichita, to invite everyone to the Fall Rendezvous at the Hub. Shirley has had some medical issues, but seems to be doing well now.

Melissa has designed a new ROMEO shirt. I had to order 48 of them to get a reasonable price. This may be the only time we have this shirt because of the large quantity. I am selling them on a first come first serve basis so if you want one let me know. They should be ready in 2 to 3 weeks. Orange or Safety Green, $12 for short sleeve and $14 for long sleeve. twowheels2eat@yahoo.com or catch me at a lunch.

I really like Jamie's Place, the service is always great and so is the food. We came in force today and even with temperatures climbing into the 90's before some of us made it home it was an enjoyable day. There were at least 3 first timers today, Jim & Carla and Dwight, we hope you felt at home and welcome with us.

Great day, Romeo friends, good food, fun ride home with Dave on the "really" back roads. It just doesn't get much better. :)

Wanda, Bob and Gary, thanks for posting your pictures.

I was busy taking orders for shirts. Thanks for all the support, I have gone from wondering what I was going to do with all the shirts I had ordered, to being out of some sizes :o  I called the "shirt folks" today to see if I could add to my order and was told our shirts had been shipped and they were going to try to have them for next Tuesday :!: :!:

I hope your day was as good as it seemed today. Jamie's had all the business they could handle but because we were spread out it all worked. Some came early for breakfast and to beat the heat and some came later. It worked perfectly. The food was good and the service excellant. A good day to be a ROMEO. ;)

George Lowe report: I went to see George yesterday. George is stable and improving. It is going to be a long road back, but George is tough and has a great attitude.
Bill Ferguson: A senior member of the "Oatmeal Gang" fell and broke his hip.

Have you ever wondered whether "Stop Light" cameras would get motorcycles :?:
Well I am here to tell you they will send you a ticket. Now I don't know who was on my bike :?: :( :o But my Gold Wing was photographed in Council Bluffs, IA toward the end of a group of 11 riders on the Ride Around Iowa. As owner of the vehicle they sent me these photographs of the bike in the intersection with a red light and a good picture of my license plate. These pictures were accompanied with an invitation to appear in court in Council Bluffs, IA or send them $100. The person who was riding my bike refused to pay the fine, so I reluctantly sent the "blood" money to the Council Bluffs, IA Motor Vehicle Count!!
