We are heading home from the Ride Around Iowa today, Friday. It has been a wonderful ride. If you want to look at the pictures here are the links
21 bikes and 27 riders headed for Iowa on June 4 and returned home safely 6 days later. Everyone rode at least 1800 miles. Dwayne who came from Salina rode many many more miles. A good time was had by all. Dan and Ellen did an unbelievable job.

Man am I slacking, I only took 5 pictures I hope someone else will post some.
It was my first time at Big Creek Cafe. When I read our last review it said it was a keeper and I agree
We filled the streets and filled the restaurant 2 or 3 times. I told them to expect 40 to 50 and we had more like 70 to 80. We are a tough group to wait on, we come we go and we move around, but the ladies at Big Creek didn't seem to mind and they kept up with us. Maybe when you are a ROMEO that is not too hard.
High Mileage****I thought the THREE from Topeka would win the prize with 92, but they were beat out with 93 by Lonnie from Hamiliton, MO. But the high mileage was Joe from Lamar with 96. Isn't that funny that 3, from different directions would be so close.
It was definitely a good day to be a ROMEO, good food and good friends. Good to see everyone

Thanks to you both for posting your pictures. Between the 2 of you, one can really get a feel for how many were there today. I love seeing all the bike on both sides of the street and all the gals and guys. Half of the guys were gone by the time I got there at 10:00
Great day , thanks for coming.
