If the weather cooperates Tues should be a good day for some miles! Cook's Corner in Smithville is excited to host us, the food and service have always been excellent. They open at 7:00 AM lunch begins at 11:00 AM, they are giving us a breakfast special 1/2 biscuit and gravy with bacon or sausage and a lunch special will be country fried steak. What a group! We filled Cook's Corner at least twice, a late count was 48 seated, several had left and 10 or so still talking in the parking lot with some still showing up! I even got an opportunity to show off my table cleaning skills so the Romititos group of at least 10 could sit. I think even though a waitress quit unexpectedly last night, the service was very good and they did get some help before the main group showed up.
